Miruga is a vinyl-craving, live-performing, music-studying deep house fanatic who hails from Nagano, Japan. With releases from many respected labels under his belt since his debut as an artist in late 2012, he has proven he can run with the big dogs musically.

His first EP, “The Human Tube” on Anton Zap’s groundbreaking Ethereal Sounds label, set the tone for this up-and-coming musical genius. A release on the V/A joint “Chez Damier presents Purpose by Design” further cemented his stature within the underground. With later releases on Aesthetic Audio, Rawthenticity, Badance, and Rough House Rosie, he proved to many how serious he was about weaving together his own fabric of ethereal, soul-caressing music.

When you think of Miruga, think of late ’80s to early ’90s deep house, with sharp, sinewy percussion backed by pads…remember those? Well, we found the guy who was hiding them all, and it’s a major reason why we heartily welcome Miruga into the Altered Moods Collective.
